When will I receive my rebate?
Your rebate will be sent to you within 30 days after the transaction successfully completes.
How will I receive my money?
A cheque from Agent-Proof Me (owned by Smartlist Realty Network Inc. Brokerage) will be mailed to you or an e-transfer. Whichever you prefer.
How do I qualify for the rebate?
You can contact APM through the APM website and we can ask you some questions about your next home and connect you with a friendly, qualified Realtor®. Or you can simply phone us directly at 905-503-HOME.
Do I receive a rebate if I SELL my home through an APM agent?
No. This rebate is designed to assist home buyers who can use the extra money to help with closing costs.
My regular real estate agent is already on the APM site. Can I just call them to start looking for a home and qualify for the rebate?
No. Unfortunately, we cannot do this as APM only earns money when we provide new business to the APM Realtors®.
The Fine Print
Rebate applies to the first 20 home buyers, only, upon completion of a purchase through an APM-approved Realtor®. Rebate is based on a 2.25% commission rate, regardless of the commission rate earned by the buyer’s agent. Rebate is paid to the purchaser by Agent-Proof Me upon the successful completion of the buying transaction.
This rebate will not affect the sale price and therefore will not change the amount of land transfer tax you’re required to pay.
The cash rebate may have income tax implications.
