About Katya
Hi, I’m Katya Ells, and I live in Carleton Place, Ontario. Growing up in Carleton Place, I was introduced to mortgages at a very young age. Being a part of a blended family with half of us being mortgage professionals, it was never ‘if’ I was going to be in the mortgage industry, it was just when.
Needless to say, I got into the mortgage industry because I grew up seeing and experiencing the difference that working with a mortgage broker made in people’s lives. Allowing families or individuals to have a one-on-one professional help them through each step of the mortgage process, streamlining the process, and taking the time to help them understand and learn about different mortgage options are just some of the benefits of working with a mortgage professional.
Purchasing a home is the largest purchase one typically makes in their life so let’s make sure the mortgage fits in with their future and current goals, wants and needs. Most of the clients I work with are first time home buyers, and what a difference it makes to be a part of their home buying process! I get it, buying a home is daunting and exciting all at the same time and I love being able to help ease the pain, and reassure my clients of the process.
I am serving families from Ottawa to Perth and everywhere in between! When I am not doing mortgages you can find me at the gym or golfing!
